I have a briefcase/purse/knapsack/backpack/laptop bag/sack-of-some-sort
that I bring back and forth. Where would I put that on a motorcycle?
- Most H-D models, and some Buells, either come with or can be easily equipped with saddlebags and/or
tourpak. If saddlebags aren't your style, there's a wide variety of
storage options available, from tank bags to windshield bags to sissybar bags,
and we'll be happy to find the perfect storage solution for you and for your
ride. Many of them can be easily detached when not needed, and
reattached any time.

I wear a suit/dress/pantsuit/other-snazzy-clothing-item to work. How
can I ride in that??
- You can wear safe riding gear
right over most clothing. Chaps will zip right over your regular pants.
You probably already wear a heavier jacket over your suit jacket - or roll it
safely and store it, and put it on when you arrive. A dress, well, that
might be a little tougher, but a quick change in the ladies room is a small
price to pay for the rush of starting your day on a motorcycle. And
imagine the conversation while you're changing in the bathroom! In fact,
I bet you already have coworkers who ride and you don't even know it.
Might as well start a club!

I can't go to work with Helmet Head!
- Oh, put a comb in your pocket.
You'll be fine. A helmet liner will reduce any perspiration, and a
high-quality, well-ventilated helmet will allow air to flow. I hear the
wind-blown look is in style these days anyway.

My
wife/husband/girlfriend/boyfriend/other-family-member-or-significant-other
will kill me! It's WAAAAY to expensive!
- First of all, the MSRP on a
brand-new 2008 H-D starts as low as $6,695*, and a Buell Blast is only $4,695*. Couple that with the fact

Do you need a special license?
- Yes - the state of NJ requires
that you have a special Motorcycle endorsement on your driver's license.
You must pass both a written test and a road test. We highly recommend
you take a NJ-approved Riders Education class. If you take the written
test and obtain your permit, you can take the weekend class at
RiderEd and if you successfully pass the
class, you can skip the road test. The course is full of great info -
and should make you into a safer rider. You don't need to have a bike to
take the class - they supply them for you.

I'm not sure riding is really for me.
- Oh, it is. The only real
question is WHICH bike is for you. Once you have your license, you can
come down for a test ride, or a "demo" ride in the biker world. You can
take one of our demos out for a short ride, see which model you like best.
